We came in contact with Derek and Steven in DS Supplies through a joiner that we had already done work for and he recommended us.
DS supplies were struggling for space in the warehouse of their expanding business.
We met on-site with the clients after receiving their call and discussed the available options for the project. They had a number of concerns that we were able to put at ease and we were awarded the project.
Upon deposit we quickly drafted a 3D Model of the Mezzanine Floor so both us and the client could agree exactly on how the job would be done. Once the design had been agreed, work commenced.
All structural steel in the project was shot-blasted & primed.
Materials used in the construction of the Mezzanine Floors were as follows;
- 152×152 UC 30kg Uprights
- 203 x 133 UB 25kg Beams
- Joists were made from pressed Galvanised Steel
- Engineering Grade Floor Boards were used as a floor covering.
- All handrail Staircases and special Pallet Gates were manufactured in our workshop to complete the project.
The new space made a massive difference to the warehouse storage and everyone there were happy with the job and how it was carried out.
We completed a lot of the work outside of normal working hours for safety reasons and to facilitate the workings of the warehouse.
DS Supplies have already lined up Extreme Steel to construct a further 2No. Mezzanine Floors which is a testament to our craftsmanship and quality.
